Northern South Dakota
Early goose season opened and people had good success around Aberdeen area. Hunting geese in wheat fields for best success. Opening morning had 4 guys get 14.
Southern South Dakota
Starting to see groups of teal buzz around in the early morning on ponds. Local family groups are starting to be seen more and more on bodies of water.
Minnesota
Field hunting geese in wheat fields is the best way to go about hunting right now. Geese are in the area but are mainly in family groups.
